Why Peninsula Land Rover Owners Choose Express Auto
Air Suspension, Done Right
We leak-test each strut, line and the valve block, replace only what is leaking, and recalibrate ride height. Catching a leak early saves the compressor.
Diagnose Before Replacing
Many Land Rover warnings come from low voltage, not failed parts. We test the battery and charging system and read every module before recommending repairs.
Coolant & Oil Leaks
Plastic coolant pipes and water pumps on the supercharged 3.0 V6 and 5.0 V8, plus valve cover and oil cooler seepage — pressure-tested and fixed with OEM parts.
Timing Chains
A rattle on a cold start on the 2.0 Ingenium or early 5.0 V8 is the warning sign. Replacing a stretched chain before it jumps avoids engine damage.
Warranty-Safe Maintenance
Factory schedules, OEM parts and Land Rover-spec fluids, documented for your records. Independent maintenance does not void your warranty (Magnuson-Moss).
Easy to Reach
1041 San Mateo Ave, right off Hwy 101 and 380. Free shuttle to San Bruno BART and free pick-up within about 3 miles.
Land Rover Dealer Alternative — FAQ
Can I service my Land Rover somewhere other than the dealer without voiding the warranty?
Yes. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prevents Land Rover from voiding your warranty because you used an independent shop, as long as maintenance follows the factory schedule with equivalent parts. We use OEM parts and Land Rover-spec fluids and document every service. Warranty repairs and recalls remain free at the dealer.
What diagnostic tools do you use for Land Rover?
We use a professional scan tool with Land Rover coverage (module diagnostics, air suspension calibration, service resets). That covers the engine, transmission, air suspension, ABS, body and infotainment modules. A few software updates and module programming jobs need Land Rover's dealer-only online system; if your repair needs one, we tell you up front.
Why does my Range Rover sit low in the morning?
An air strut or air spring is leaking. The rubber ages and cracks, the SUV drops after it sits, and the compressor works overtime to lift it. We leak-test each corner, the lines and the valve block, replace what is leaking and recalibrate ride height. Fixing the leak early protects the compressor.
My Land Rover says "Transmission fault" or "Restricted performance". Is the transmission failing?
Often not. These messages commonly appear when battery voltage drops, because the modules lose power and set faults. We test the battery and charging system and read every module before we look at the transmission.
How much does Land Rover air suspension repair cost?
It depends on how many corners are leaking and whether the compressor or valve block is worn. We leak-test the whole system first and quote the complete repair before starting — no surprises.
