A code scan reads the fault codes your car has stored. Diagnostics is for when we need more time to find the root cause: it costs $250, waived when the repair is completed by our shop. We use Snap-on and Matco bi-directional scan tools, which read codes and live data and let us command components on and off to test them. We diagnose everything from simple sensor problems to complex engine and transmission issues.
