Toyota Camry Maintenance & Common Repairs Guide
The Camry is the most common Toyota we service. Most visits are maintenance; the repairs we see most are the V6 (2GR) water pump, oil consumption on older 2.4L 2AZ-FE four-cylinders, and hybrid cooling service.

Frequently Asked Questions
My older Camry burns oil. Is that normal?
Some 2007–2011 Camrys with the 2.4L 2AZ-FE engine developed oil consumption from piston ring wear, and Toyota ran a warranty enhancement program for it. We can run an oil consumption test to measure it.
Does the Camry have a timing belt?
No. Modern Camry four-cylinder and V6 engines use timing chains, which do not have a scheduled replacement interval.
Can you service the Camry Hybrid?
Yes — including hybrid battery cooling service, inverter coolant and 12V battery testing, on top of regular maintenance.
