Frequently Asked Questions
Can I convert my Cayenne to coilovers instead of fixing the air suspension?
Yes. On 955/957 Cayenne (2003-2010), converting to quality coilover springs is a legitimate option when multiple struts have failed and the compressor is also going. The ride quality difference is minimal for normal driving. The PASM system can be left in a static position. We perform coilover conversions as well as air system repairs — we'll help you decide which makes more sense for your mileage and budget.
My Cayenne compressor runs but the car still sits low. What's wrong?
If the compressor is running but the Cayenne still sags, the leak is in the air struts, valve block, or supply lines — not the compressor itself. Running the compressor to compensate for a strut leak eventually burns out the compressor motor. Diagnose and fix the leak source first. A PIWIS 4 scan helps isolate which corner is leaking based on pressure loss rate.
